About Alejandro Ingelmo Alejandro Ingelmo, a fourth generation shoe designer, was born and raised in Miami. He moved to New York in 2005 to study at Parsons School of Design. Ingelmo was originally enrolled in an interior design program, but he quickly switched gears to follow his calling as shoe designer. Alejandro Ingelmo s women s footwear line has become an obsession of celebrities and shoe-crazed fashionistas worldwide.
